Let’s face it. We all love bikes. Which means we probably have more than one…or two.

If you’ve got a bike problem, (is it really a problem?) you might need some inspiration for bike storage. So, here are five great options on how to store your bikes.

Horizontal Wall Stands – some of these options are freestanding, and some connect to the wall. The type you choose depends if you’re able to connect to a stud in the wall, or if you’d prefer to leave your walls hole-free.

Hang Them Up – unused wall space? Not any more! Hang those bikes on the wall. There are systems you can purchase that will allow you to lock your bikes to those wall hangers making it harder to steal if you have a break-in, or you can just head to your local hardware store and purchase some bike hooks. Remember, you want to screw these directly into your studs, otherwise, you won’t be able to hang anything on them.

All-In-One Bike Shelf – if you’re just looking for one spot to keep all your gear, check out this tutorial from Liv. You can hang your bike on it and keep your helmet and gear on the shelf above your bike.

Look Up – there are options now to store your bikes on the ceiling! Some use a pulley system for one bike, but Saris has a system to store up to 6 bikes with their add-on. It takes a little bit extra work to slide them out, and your kids will probably need help with this one.

We hope these five ideas on how to store your bikes allow you to visualize a unique place in your home to store bikes. We’d love to hear your creative ways that you store your collection!
