While the rest of the state is getting cold and snow is starting to accumulate, Fruita is still sunny with perfect riding temperatures!
There is still plenty of time to plan a weekend getaway to Fruita. So, where are some places to stay during your Fruita vacation? Here are some great options!
Hotels/Motels – There are plenty of options in and around Fruita to choose. The Balanced Rock Inn and H Motel are a couple of biker favorites, but Fruita also has well-known chain options like Super 8, La Quinta, and Comfort Inn.

VRBO – If you’re coming to Fruita with a posse, you might need a little more room. Check out Fruita Crash Pad, Milan House, and Fruita Vacation Rentals. All of these options can get you close to downtown Fruita, so you can walk to and from post-ride dinner and drinks.
Camping/RV – If you like to be a little closer to nature (and the trailheads) you might want to camp or bring your RV. Look at Monument RV Park, James M. Robb State Park, North Fruita Desert Campground, Colorado National Monument Campground, and Highline State Park. Some of these are closer to the trails than others, so check out a map to be sure you’re picking the best option for you.

Rentals and More – If you’re looking for a place to stay and then some, book Moon Farm! Visitors will find small medieval castles, a petting zoo, a snowboard museum and the occasional Storm Trooper from Star Wars. In addition to all of those things, it is also the closest (non-camping) option to the 18 Road Trails.
