Hey! Mesa County residents! Have you felt like you’ve been in a slump since the quarantine began?

Has your race season been derailed and your energy deflated? The Lockdown Graveltational could be just the thing to get you in a better frame of mind and get you motivated to leave your house (in a safe way).

Local Grand Valley resident, Noah Sears, started a race/ride that also helps our small businesses – he’s dubbed it the Lockdown Graveltational. This is a 51.3-mile course with 3,200 feet of climbing that is most advantageous on a gravel bike. You can complete the route via Strava until May 3rd.

To enter, purchase a $20 gift card/certificate to a LOCAL Grand Valley business. Contact Noah via email to throw your hat in the ring (and figure out the best way to get your gift card to him). Then you just ride the route. All the loot will be divided evenly five ways (Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Master, Women’s Master, and one random participant drawn from a hat).

Do you want to participate on a gravel bike, but don’t have one? Contact us! We’ve got some gravel bikes for rent. We’ll make sure you’re properly set up, so you can crush the competition! Remember, this is only open to Mesa County residents – and you’ve got until May 3rd to ride the route. So, get out there and have some fun!
