Are you new to mountain biking or do you just like riding with a rad group of people? Did you miss the Tuesday night ride because you just weren’t sure what to expect?

CBB's Tuesday night shop ride is for all ages and all riding levelsNo worries. Here is a rundown of what to expect when you join us at the next one!

Location – CBB shop rides always meet in the 18 Road Trailhead parking lot every other Tuesday from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend (roughly). People start showing up around 6 pm and start pedaling by 6:30 pm. These rides happen until it gets dark, with everyone hanging around after the ride to shoot the breeze and share some food, beverages, and stories.

All Ages, All Skills – our shop rides are all-inclusive and family-friendly. Everyone is there to have a good time. When you arrive, you can pick your riding group. There is always a group that wants to get after it and ride fast and rowdy and a group that might not be quite feeling it and just wants to get a good, slow pedal in. No matter what group you choose, everyone starts and ends in the 18 Road parking lot. Don't think you can't get rowdy at a CBB Tuesday night shop ride

What Trails – every trail at 18 Road is fair game during shop nights. Groups usually gauge the wind and weather to see what routes will be best for that evening but tend to split up going in all directions. Night rides and shuttles are also pretty common for Tuesday night rides. So, if you’ve always wanted to do a night lap, charge your lights and bring them! If you’re more the shuttle type, just wait until the first pedal laps are done. After doing some work, you’ll be able to find someone to hit a few shuttle laps with you.

Stay a while after the CBB shop ride - have a beer and a hot dog and get to know everyoneWhat to Bring – the only requirements to bring are your bike and riding gear. This might include a hydration pack, or water bottles, repair kit, helmet, gloves, shoes, etc. Whatever it is you feel comfortable riding in, bring it! If you want to stay to hang out after (highly recommended!) bring a camp chair and a warm layer. It can get cold once the sun starts to set.

What Does the Shop Provide – the good stuff! CBB provides beverages (beer and water) and will have hot dogs, buns, and condiments unless it is a special food night. Taco Tuesday is one of the most favorite shop nights of the year, so keep an eye out for that one!

All updates for all of CBB’s shop rides are posted on our Facebook page, so be sure to like our page. If you have any specific questions about what to expect, contact us! You can call, email, FB message or just stop in. We can’t wait for you to join us!
